How the preference is saved
The banner records your choice in your browser's local storage, under the name cookieConsent. The table on this page lists that record for transparency, although it is not sent as a cookie with every request. It serves as a note of what you accepted, and it remains in the browser until you change the selection or clear the site data. A different browser, a different device or a private window starts without it, and if your browser blocks storage, the choice may not be kept.
Third-party tags and how to limit them
Where this site uses third-party advertising or measurement tags, for example from Google, they are described in the privacy notice, including what data they collect. Those providers may set their own cookies or read your browser or device. You can limit them through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies, and with the opt-out tools that the tag providers publish.
What the choice covers
The banner offers two things: essential storage, which keeps your choice and the basic behaviour of the site stable, and an optional analytics preference. Accepting turns the analytics preference on, and choosing essential only leaves it off. The choice is a preference setting for this site. It does not send an inquiry or sign you up for anything, and it is separate from any advertising or measurement tags described in the privacy notice.
